CUSTOM BUILD AND GAMING SYSTEM REPAIR:
Nonstandard/Custom builds, incomplete builds and complex gaming systems (liquid cooling, multiple GPUs, specialized chassis and parts, etc.) will be billed for diagnostics and repairs at an hourly rate of $85/hour with a one-hour minimum. Additional time required will be billed in 15-minute increments. Priority Service remains available at the posted rate.
WINDOWS PASSWORD RESETS:
Forgot your Windows password? We can help! We can reset local user accounts on any Windows PC*. As long as you’re not using a Microsoft account or a domain-based login, we can remove the password to get you back in. If you’re not sure, check with us beforehand or bring it by for a quick assessment. $45 for standard turnaround, $100 for rush service (includes $75 priority service). Standard gets to it as we’re able, Rush can be as soon as while-you-wait.
*This service assumes you are either the owner of the PC in question or have authorization to access it. We reserve the right to refuse service for this procedure.
INSURANCE DAMAGE ASSESSMENTS
Yes, we can perform Insurance Damage Assessments! The price for this service is $120, this fee is normally reimbursed by your insurance company, and requires prepayment at check-in. The assessment fee does not apply to any actual repairs performed. The assessment fee covers up to one (1) hour of technician time in identifying and documenting damage, including pictures, a write-up of findings, and all supplied documentation provided via print and email.
*Standard diagnostic includes testing and identification of typical hardware and software issues, including typical breakdown of casing parts for laptops. Depending on condition of casing, reassembly may not be feasible without replacement parts. Advanced testing or extended efforts may incur additional charges. Free diagnostics are reserved for prebuilt, branded systems (Lenovo, Dell, HP, etc.,). Nonstandard systems (Custom builds and complex Gaming systems) are subject to hourly rates unless otherwise stated. CWNC maintains sole discretion as to what qualifies for free diagnostics. Please ask your technician for details.
**hourly rate is billed at first hour plus 15-minute increments. All hourly services have a one-hour minimum.
